March 2011 – The building permit was granted for the first stage of the construction, which is the Main Buddha Hall. 88 jade-carved Buddha statues were handpicked and ordered from Myanmar by Elder Master Sing Hung and Ven. Dayi Shi. Each statue is 1.7 metres tall, 1.5 metres wide and 0.70 metres deep.
2011年3月，工程第一項——五台山大雄寶殿正式獲得建築許可證。性空長老和達義大和尚親赴緬甸挑選88尊玉佛，每尊玉佛高1.7米，寬1.5米，厚度70厘米。每尊佛像都是由一整塊天然緬甸玉石手工雕刻而成，玉佛的手勢變化萬千，精美絕倫。
