建設歷程
The success of such an enormous project is attributed to the great vow undertaken by the three founding venerable masters of The Buddhist Association of Canada Cham Shan Temple and its current abbot Ven. Dayi Shi, who relentlessly led the sangha and laity over the last two decades to turn a great vision into a reality. Their strong faith and devotion are the foundation of today’s success, bringing fulfilment to many supporters of the project, helping many to start on their own path of enlightenment to find inner peace and liberation from the sufferings of this world.
加國五台山能有今日之成就，離不開北美弘法兩代僧人的傳承，從三位開山宗長的弘願到今日達義大和尚率領四眾弟子變成現實。數十年如一日的信念與堅持造就了今日碩果，也成就了成千上萬的善心人士，因為加國五台山的因緣而了解佛教並皈依三寶，領悟到宇宙人生真諦。
Sep 2010 – agreement on the scope of the construction with government officials.
2010年9月，贏得政府部門對建設規模的批準。
March 2011 – Building permit was granted for the construction of the Main Buddha Hall.
2011年3月，工程第一項——五山大雄寶殿正式獲得建築許可證。
2012 – start construction on the foundation for the Main Buddha Hall
2012年開始建造大殿一層的基座工程
June 2013 – completion of the 50,000 sq. ft. concrete foundation for the Main Buddha Hall
2013年6月，完成大雄寶殿5萬平方尺的基礎混凝土結構工程。
May 2014 – start of inventory stock-take of the Main Buddha Hall wooden structure.
2014年5月開始進入組裝大雄寶殿的木結構清點階段。
2015 – the concrete base of the grand stone statue of Maitreya Buddha was completed.
2015年-彌勒佛大石像的混凝土基座已經完成。
Oct 12, 2015 – a handover ceremony for donating a statue of Wuye to The Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden.
2015年10月12日，中國五台山五爺廟住持常青長老捐贈廣濟龍王護法聖像
June 29 to July 14, 2016 – “Passing of the Torch” held at the Four Famous Buddhist Mountains of China.
2016年6月29日至7月14日，赴中國迎請佛教四大名山香火。
October 29, 2016 – The 13-metre high, Maitreya Buddha was fully assembled.
2016年10月29日，13米高的彌勒大佛石雕像完工。
March 29, 2017 – the five donated bronze statues of Manjusri Bodhisattva from Mount Wutai of China arrived.
2017年3月29日由中國五台山捐贈五方文殊師利菩薩聖像，運抵加拿大。
June 19, 2017 – The consecration ceremony of the Maitreya Buddha.
2017年6月19日，加國五台山彌勒菩薩聖像的開光慶典。
2017 year – the main horizontal wooden support beams together with 36 vertical support beams were erected.
2017年，一個多月內36根大柱子豎立起來，並架上橫樑，按上斗拱。
June 24, 2018 – Consecration and Blessing Ceremony of East Platform Manjusri Bodhisattva.
2018年6月24日，欣逢加拿大五台山東文殊師利菩薩聖像開光。
August 15, 2018 – Blessing Ceremony of the Installation of the Main Roof Beam.
2018年8月15日，五台山大雄寶殿舉行隆重的升樑儀式。
Sep 30, 2018 – 3-Steps-1-Bow pilgrimage at Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden.
2018年9月30日，達義大和尚第七次親自帶領四眾弟子三步一拜朝禮加國五台山。
Year-end 2018 – bravely against the harsh wintry conditions, installed the bronze roof shingles.
2018年冬，不畏嚴寒，冒着風雪,鋪上銅瓦。
March 17, 2019 – it was the 17th activity of the Bronze Roof Shingles Writing event.
2019年3月17日，舉行了第十七期，銅瓦抄心經活動。
September 24, 2019 – Grand Offering at the Main Buddhist Hall and Consecration Ceremony for Bodhisattva Manjusri at the Central Platform.
2019 年9月24日, 舉行了加國五台山大雄寶殿落成上供諸佛暨佛像開光及中台文殊菩薩開光大典。
Oct 5, 2019 – The Consecration Ceremony of the Main Buddha Hall and Bodhisattva Manjusri at the South Platform.
2019年10月5日，上午舉行了加國五台山大雄寶殿落成儀式。下午舉行了佛像開光及南台文殊菩薩開光大典。
