June 29 to July 14, 2016 – Elder Master Sing Hung and Ven. Dayi Shi led a delegation to China for “Passing of the Torch” held at the Four Famous Buddhist Mountains of China. Many attended these significant historical ceremonies, as they validated the heritage of the Four Great Sacred Buddhist Gardens in Canada, and strengthened the position of Chinese Buddhism in North America, with a long-lasting impact on its future propagation.
2016年6月29日至7月14日，湛山精舍開山宗長，時年九十三歲的性空長老和加拿大佛教會會長達義大和尚率團赴中國迎請佛教四大名山香火。此次迎請成就加拿大佛教四大名山殊勝法源，其活動規格之高、規模之大、參與人數之多，可謂史無前例、盛況空前。正在興建中的加拿大四大名山與淵源深厚的中國佛教四大名山實現香火對接，完成了法乳一脈、同根同源的殊勝傳承。此舉將對漢傳佛教在北美的傳播產生深遠影響。
