dà cí dà bēi mǐn zhòng shēng
大 慈 大 悲 愍 眾 生。
O, Most Merciful and Compassionate One, pity all beings.
dà xǐ dà shě jì hán shí
大 喜 大 捨 濟 含 識。
With great joy and abandonment, succor those with Vijnana.
xiàng hǎo guāng míng yǐ zì yán
相 好 光 明 以 自 嚴。
To the one with noble features and radiance for self-adornment,
zhòng děng zhì xīn guī mìng lǐ
眾 等 至 心 歸 命 禮。
We the congregation, wholeheartedly take refuge and pay homage.
ná mó guī yī shí fāng jìn xū kōng jiè yī qiè zhū fó
南 無 皈 依 十 方。 盡 虛 空 界。 一 切 諸 佛。
We take refuge in all Buddhas everywhere throughout all space.
ná mó guī yī shí fāng jìn xū kōng jiè yī qiè zūn fǎ
南 無 皈 依 十 方。 盡 虛 空 界。 一 切 尊 法。
We take refuge in all Dharmas everywhere throughout all space.
ná mó guī yī shí fāng jìn xū kōng jiè yī qiè xián shèng sēng
南 無 皈 依 十 方。 盡 虛 空 界。 一 切 賢 聖 僧。
We take refuge in all the holy sanghas everywhere throughout all space.
ná mó rú lái. yīng gòng. zhèng biàn zhī.
南 無 如 來。應 供。 正 遍 知。

Chapter： Repentance Verses

rú shì děng. yī qiè shì jiè. zhū fó shì zūn. cháng zhù zài shì.
如 是 等。 一 切 世 界。 諸 佛 世 尊。 常 住 在 世。
All those Buddhas in all worlds, the World HonoredOnes, ever dwelling;
shì zhū shì zūn. dāng cí niàn wǒ.
是 諸 世 尊。 當 慈 念 我。
May all those World HonoredOnes have merciful consideration for me.
ruò wǒ cǐ shēng. ruò wǒ qián shēng.
若 我 此 生。 若 我 前 生。
For, in this existence of mine or in my previous existence,
cóng wú shǐ shēng sǐ yǐ lái.
從 無 始 生 死 以 來。
In Samasra since time without beginning,
suǒ zuò zhòng zuì. ruò zì zuò.
所 作 眾 罪。 若 自 作。
for all sins, whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
ruò tǎ ruò sēng. ruò sì fāng sēng wù.
若 塔 若 僧。 若 四 方 僧 物。
for articles belonging to Stupas or to Sanghas everywhere
ruò zì qǔ. ruò jiào tā qǔ. jiàn qǔ suí xǐ.
若 自 取。 若 教 他 取。見 取 隨 喜。
stolen by myself or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
wǔ wú jiàn zuì. ruò zì zuò.
五 無 間 罪。若 自 作。
for the five unpardonable offences whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
shí bú shàn dào. ruò zì zuò.
十 不 善 道。 若 自 作。
for all of the ten evil deeds whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
suǒ zuò zuì zhàng. huò yǒu fù cáng.
所 作 罪 障。 或 有 覆 藏。
for all those sins, whether covered and hidden
huò bú fù cáng. yīng duò dì yù.
或 不 覆 藏。 應 墮 地 獄。
or open and obvious, which deserved transmigration into hells,
è guǐ chù shēng. zhū yú è qù.
餓 鬼 畜 生。 諸 餘 惡 趣。
hungry ghosts, animals, and such evil paths of existence
biān dì xià jiàn. jí miè lì chē.
邊 地 下 賤。 及 蔑 戾 車。
as well as into mean borderlands and such places like Mleccha
rú shì děng chù. suǒ zuò zuì zhàng.
如 是 等 處。 所 作 罪 障。
(barbarian, heathen frontiers) for all those sins committed
jīn jiē chàn huǐ. jīn zhū fó shì zūn.
今 皆 懺 悔。 今 諸 佛 世 尊。
I now remorsefully repent. Now, may all Buddhas, the World Honored Ones,
dāng zhèng zhī wǒ. dāng yì niàn wǒ.
當 證 知 我 。 當 憶 念 我。
witness and remember me.
wǒ fù yú zhū fó shì zūn qián. zuò rú shì yán.
我 復 於 諸 佛 世 尊 前。 作 如 是 言。
And, before all Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, I say these words:
ruò wǒ cǐ shēng. ruò wǒ yú shēng.
若 我 此 生。 若 我 餘 生。
If, in this life of mine, or in the rest of my existence,
céng xíng bù shī. huò shǒu jìng jiè.
曾 行 布 施。 或 守 淨 戒。
I did some almsgiving and offering, or kept the holy precepts,
nǎi zhì shī yǔ chù shēng. yī tuán zhī shí.
乃 至 施 與 畜 生。 一 摶 之 食。
or even as much as gave to an animal only a morsel of food,
huò xiū jìng xíng. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
或 修 淨 行。 所 有 善 根。
or practised pure cultivation - all these virtuous roots,
chéng jiù zhòng shēng. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
成 就 眾 生。 所 有 善 根。
and those for developing all beings
xiū xíng pú tí. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
修 行 菩 提。 所 有 善 根。
and for cultivating Bodhi,
jí wú shàng zhì. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
及 無 上 智。 所 有 善 根。
and those good roots generated from unexcelled wisdom,
yī qiè hé jí. xiào jì chóu liáng.
一 切 合 集。 校 計 籌 量。
combined altogether, reckoned and measured,
jiē xī huí xiàng.
皆 悉 迴 向。
are all offered up as Parunamana (transference)
ā nòu duō luó sān miǎo sān pú tí.
阿 耨 多 羅 三 藐 三 菩 提。
towards Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
rú guò qù wèi lái xiàn zài zhū fó.
如 過 去 未 來 現 在 諸 佛。
As all the Buddhas in the past, at present and in the future
suǒ zuò huí xiàng. wǒ yì rú shì huí xiàng.
所 作 迴 向。 我 亦 如 是 迴 向。
did the Parinamana. I, likewise, am doing the same.
zhòng zuì jiē chàn huǐ. zhū fú jìn suí xǐ.
眾 罪 皆 懺 悔。 諸 福 盡 隨 喜。
May the repentance of all sins, the sharing of all blessings
jí qǐng fó gōng dé. yuàn chéng wú shàng zhì.
及 請 佛 功 德。 願 成 無 上 智。
and the merit of pleading to Buddhas all contribute to the achievement of unexcelled wisdom.
qù lái xiàn zài fó. yú zhòng shēng zuì shèng.
去 來 現 在 佛。 於 眾 生 最 勝。
In all Buddhas past, present and future, the best among beings,
wú liàng gōng dé hǎi. wǒ jīn guī mìng lǐ.
無 量 功 德 海。 我 今 歸 命 禮。
with unfathomable merits and virtures, I now take refuge.
Chapter： Gatha of Dedication

suǒ yǒu shí fāng shì jiè zhōng
所 有 十 方 世 界 中
To all those who were, are and will be in all worlds everywhere,
sān shì yī qiè rén shī zǐ
三 世 一 切 人 師 子
The Perceptive teacher in the past, at present and in the future
wǒ yǐ qīng jìng shēn yǔ yì
我 以 清 淨 身 語 意
By my pure and clean physical, oral and mental actions,
yī qiè biàn lǐ jìn wú yú
一 切 遍 禮 盡 無 餘
I now pay homage, all embracing and none missing.
pǔ xián hèng yuàn wēi shén lì
普 賢 行 願 威 神 力
With the help of the supernatural power of Samantabhadra's vows,
pǔ xiàn yī qiè rú lái qián
普 現 一 切 如 來 前
I manifest myself simultaneously before all the Tathagatas.
yī shēn fù xiàn chà chén shēn
一 身 復 現 剎 塵 身
This single body of mine, in turn, manifests in innumerable bodies
yī yī biàn lǐ chà chén fó
一 一 遍 禮 剎 塵 佛
Each and every one of which pays homeage to innumerable Buddhas.
yú yī chén zhōng chén shù fó
於 一 塵 中 塵 數 佛
In one grain of dust there exist as many Buddhas as all dust grains,
gè chù pú sà zhòng huì zhōng
各 處 菩 薩 眾 會 中
And in places where there are congregations of Bodhisattvas,
wú jìn fǎ jiè chén yì rán
無 盡 法 界 塵 亦 然
As well as in the dust grains in the endless Dharmadhatus,
shēn xìn zhū fó jiē chōng mǎn
深 信 諸 佛 皆 充 滿
It is firmly believed that all are filled with Buddhas.
gè yǐ yī qiè yīn shēng hǎi
各 以 一 切 音 聲 海
I vow to praise each of them with all kinds of voices and sounds,
pǔ chū wú jìn miào yán cí
普 出 無 盡 妙 言 辭
Invariably uttering endless and wonderful words and speeches.
jìn yú wèi lái yī qiè jié
盡 於 未 來 一 切 劫
And, throughout all the future kalpas yet to come,
zàn fó shèn shēn gōng dé hǎi
讚 佛 甚 深 功 德 海
To prise Buddhas' very deep sea of merits and virtues.
yǐ zhū zuì shèng miào huā mán
以 諸 最 勝 妙 華 鬘
The most exquisite and wonderful garlands of flowers,
jì yuè tú xiāng jí sǎn gài
伎 樂 塗 香 及 傘 蓋
Performance, music, ointment, incense, umbrellas and canopies,
rú shì zuì shèng zhuāng yán jù
如 是 最 勝 莊 嚴 具
As such the most exquisite ornament and adornment --
wǒ yǐ gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
我 以 供 養 諸 如 來
With all of these, I mow make offerings to all Tathagatas.
zuì shèng yī fú zuì shèng xiāng
最 勝 衣 服 最 勝 香
The most exquisite clothes and the most exquisite incenses,
mò xiāng shāo xiāng yǔ dēng zhú
末 香 燒 香 與 燈 燭
Powdered incense, burning incense, lights and candles,
yī yī jiē rú miào gāo jù
一 一 皆 如 妙 高 聚
Each of which heaps as high as the Sumeru Mountains --
wǒ xī gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
我 悉 供 養 諸 如 來
With all of these, I now make offerings to all Tathagatas.
wǒ yǐ guǎng dà shèng jiě xīn
我 以 廣 大 勝 解 心
I, with a broad, deep, extraordinary, understanding mind,
shēn xìn yī qiè sān shì fó
深 信 一 切 三 世 佛
Firmly believe in all Buddhas in the past, present and future,
xī yǐ pǔ xián hèng yuàn lì
悉 以 普 賢 行 願 力
And, with all the power of Samantabhadra's practices and vows,
pǔ biàn gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
普 遍 供 養 諸 如 來
Now make general all-embracing offerings to all Tathagatas.
wǒ xī suǒ zào zhū è yè
我 昔 所 造 諸 惡 業
All the evil Karmas which I created in bygone days
jiē yóu wú shǐ tān chēn chī
皆 由 無 始 貪 瞋 癡
Resulted from avarice, hatred and ignorance since time without beginning,
cóng shēn yǔ yì zhī suǒ shēng
從 身 語 意 之 所 生
And manifested physically, orally or mentally; thus
yī qiè wǒ jīn jiē chàn huǐ
一 切 我 今 皆 懺 悔
For all these karmas I now remorsefully repent.
shí fāng yī qiè zhū zhòng shēng
十 方 一 切 諸 眾 生
All sentient beings in all places --
èr shèng yǒu xué jí wú xué
二 乘 有 學 及 無 學
Svarakas and Pratyeka-buddhas, Saiksas and Asaiksas,
yī qiè rú lái yǔ pú sà
一 切 如 來 與 菩 薩
As well as all the Buddhas and all the Bodhisattvas,
suǒ yǒu gōng dé jiē suí xǐ
所 有 功 德 皆 隨 喜
Together with all their merits and virtues -- I rejoice in and follow.
shí fāng suǒ yǒu shì jiān dēng
十 方 所 有 世 間 燈
To all the torch-bearers in the worlds in all directions,
zuì chū chéng jiù pú tí zhě
最 初 成 就 菩 提 者
Who were the first to achieve Bodhi,
wǒ jīn yī qiè jiē quàn qǐng
我 今 一 切 皆 勸 請
I now extend an all-embracing plea and ask al of them
zhuàn yú wú shàng miào fǎ lún
轉 於 無 上 妙 法 輪
To turn the unexcelled, wonderful wheels of Dharma.
zhū fó ruò yù shì niè pán
諸 佛 若 欲 示 涅 槃
Whenever the Buddhas set their minds on attainment of Nirvana,
wǒ xī zhì chéng ér quàn qǐng
我 悉 至 誠 而 勸 請
I will, with the utmost sincerity, beg and entreat them to stay,
wéi yuàn jiǔ zhù chà chén jié
惟 願 久 住 剎 塵 劫
For I firmly wish them to stay for as many kalpas as dust grains,
lì lè yī qiè zhū zhòng shēng
利 樂 一 切 諸 眾 生
For the benefit and rejoicing of all sentient beings.
suǒ yǒu lǐ zàn gòng yǎng fú
所 有 禮 讚 供 養 佛
All this worship and these praises and offerings to the Buddhas，
qǐng fó zhù shì zhuàn fǎ lún
請 佛 住 世 轉 法 輪
And the plea to the Buddhas asking them to turn the Dharma wheels.
suí xǐ chàn huǐ zhū shàn gēn
隨 喜 懺 悔 諸 善 根
And all the good roots of rejoicing in others and of repentence --
huí xiàng zhòng shēng jí fó dào
迴 向 眾 生 及 佛 道
All are offered up in the Parinamana for sentient beings and for Bodhi.
yuàn jiāng yǐ cǐ shèng gōng dé
願 將 以 此 勝 功 德
I wish to have these extraordinary merits and virtues
huí xiàng wú shàng zhēn fǎ jiè
迴 向 無 上 真 法 界
Offered up in Parinamana for the unexcelled genuine Dharmadhatu
xìng xiàng fó fǎ jí sēng qié
性 相 佛 法 及 僧 伽
Nature, its phenomenal expression, Buddhas, Dharma and Sangha,
èr dì róng tōng sān mèi yìn
二 諦 融 通 三 昧 印
Mundane and Buddhist doctrines blended harmoniously, Samadhi seal
rú shì wú liàng gōng dé hǎi
如 是 無 量 功 德 海
And all such unfathomable seas of merits and virtues.
wǒ jīn jiē xī jìn huí xiàng
我 今 皆 悉 盡 迴 向
I now offer all of them up in Parinamana without reservation.
suǒ yǒu zhòng shēng shēn kǒu yì
所 有 眾 生 身 口 意
May all sentient beings' physical, oral and mental karmas,
jiàn huò tán bàng wǒ fǎ děng
見 惑 彈 謗 我 法 等
Their incorrect views, doubts, sneers and slenders of our Dharma, and
rú shì yī qiè zhū yè zhàng
如 是 一 切 諸 業 障
All karmic obstructions such as the above
xī jiē xiāo miè jìn wú yú
悉 皆 消 滅 盡 無 餘
Be completely eliminated without even a trace.
niàn niàn zhì zhōu yú fǎ jiè
念 念 智 周 於 法 界
Instant by instant wisdom shall prevail in the Dharmadhatu
guǎng dù zhòng shēng jiē bú tuì
廣 度 眾 生 皆 不 退
To enlighten all beings so that they will never suffer retrogression
nǎi zhì xū kōng shì jiè jìn
乃 至 虛 空 世 界 盡
Even if the vast emptiness of space be exhausted,
zhòng shēng jí yè fán nǎo jìn
眾 生 及 業 煩 惱 盡
And sentient beings and their karma and kleshas be exhausted
rú shì sì fǎ guǎng wú biān
如 是 四 法 廣 無 邊
As immense and limitless as the four things mentioned above,
yuàn jīn huí xiàng yì rú shì
願 今 迴 向 亦 如 是
May the present Parinamana never be exhaused.

大 慈 大 悲 愍 眾 生。
O, Most Merciful and Compassionate One, pity all beings.
dà xǐ dà shě jì hán shí
大 喜 大 捨 濟 含 識。
With great joy and abandonment, succor those with Vijnana.
xiàng hǎo guāng míng yǐ zì yán
相 好 光 明 以 自 嚴。
To the one with noble features and radiance for self-adornment,
zhòng děng zhì xīn guī mìng lǐ
眾 等 至 心 歸 命 禮。
We the congregation, wholeheartedly take refuge and pay homage.
ná mó guī yī shí fāng jìn xū kōng jiè yī qiè zhū fó
南 無 皈 依 十 方。 盡 虛 空 界。 一 切 諸 佛。
We take refuge in all Buddhas everywhere throughout all space.

rú shì děng. yī qiè shì jiè. zhū fó shì zūn. cháng zhù zài shì.
如 是 等。 一 切 世 界。 諸 佛 世 尊。 常 住 在 世。
All those Buddhas in all worlds, the World HonoredOnes, ever dwelling;
shì zhū shì zūn. dāng cí niàn wǒ.
是 諸 世 尊。 當 慈 念 我。
May all those World HonoredOnes have merciful consideration for me.
ruò wǒ cǐ shēng. ruò wǒ qián shēng.
若 我 此 生。 若 我 前 生。
For, in this existence of mine or in my previous existence,
cóng wú shǐ shēng sǐ yǐ lái.
從 無 始 生 死 以 來。
In Samasra since time without beginning,
suǒ zuò zhòng zuì. ruò zì zuò.
所 作 眾 罪。 若 自 作。
for all sins, whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
ruò tǎ ruò sēng. ruò sì fāng sēng wù.
若 塔 若 僧。 若 四 方 僧 物。
for articles belonging to Stupas or to Sanghas everywhere
ruò zì qǔ. ruò jiào tā qǔ. jiàn qǔ suí xǐ.
若 自 取。 若 教 他 取。見 取 隨 喜。
stolen by myself or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
wǔ wú jiàn zuì. ruò zì zuò.
五 無 間 罪。若 自 作。
for the five unpardonable offences whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
shí bú shàn dào. ruò zì zuò.
十 不 善 道。 若 自 作。
for all of the ten evil deeds whether committed by myself
ruò jiào tā zuò. jiàn zuò suí xǐ.
若 教 他 作。 見 作 隨 喜。
or by others whom I ordered or viewed with connivance,
suǒ zuò zuì zhàng. huò yǒu fù cáng.
所 作 罪 障。 或 有 覆 藏。
for all those sins, whether covered and hidden
huò bú fù cáng. yīng duò dì yù.
或 不 覆 藏。 應 墮 地 獄。
or open and obvious, which deserved transmigration into hells,
è guǐ chù shēng. zhū yú è qù.
餓 鬼 畜 生。 諸 餘 惡 趣。
hungry ghosts, animals, and such evil paths of existence
biān dì xià jiàn. jí miè lì chē.
邊 地 下 賤。 及 蔑 戾 車。
as well as into mean borderlands and such places like Mleccha
rú shì děng chù. suǒ zuò zuì zhàng.
如 是 等 處。 所 作 罪 障。
(barbarian, heathen frontiers) for all those sins committed
jīn jiē chàn huǐ. jīn zhū fó shì zūn.
今 皆 懺 悔。 今 諸 佛 世 尊。
I now remorsefully repent. Now, may all Buddhas, the World Honored Ones,
dāng zhèng zhī wǒ. dāng yì niàn wǒ.
當 證 知 我 。 當 憶 念 我。
witness and remember me.
wǒ fù yú zhū fó shì zūn qián. zuò rú shì yán.
我 復 於 諸 佛 世 尊 前。 作 如 是 言。
And, before all Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, I say these words:
ruò wǒ cǐ shēng. ruò wǒ yú shēng.
若 我 此 生。 若 我 餘 生。
If, in this life of mine, or in the rest of my existence,
céng xíng bù shī. huò shǒu jìng jiè.
曾 行 布 施。 或 守 淨 戒。
I did some almsgiving and offering, or kept the holy precepts,
nǎi zhì shī yǔ chù shēng. yī tuán zhī shí.
乃 至 施 與 畜 生。 一 摶 之 食。
or even as much as gave to an animal only a morsel of food,
huò xiū jìng xíng. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
或 修 淨 行。 所 有 善 根。
or practised pure cultivation - all these virtuous roots,
chéng jiù zhòng shēng. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
成 就 眾 生。 所 有 善 根。
and those for developing all beings
xiū xíng pú tí. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
修 行 菩 提。 所 有 善 根。
and for cultivating Bodhi,
jí wú shàng zhì. suǒ yǒu shàn gēn.
及 無 上 智。 所 有 善 根。
and those good roots generated from unexcelled wisdom,
yī qiè hé jí. xiào jì chóu liáng.
一 切 合 集。 校 計 籌 量。
combined altogether, reckoned and measured,
jiē xī huí xiàng.
皆 悉 迴 向。
are all offered up as Parunamana (transference)
ā nòu duō luó sān miǎo sān pú tí.
阿 耨 多 羅 三 藐 三 菩 提。
towards Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
rú guò qù wèi lái xiàn zài zhū fó.
如 過 去 未 來 現 在 諸 佛。
As all the Buddhas in the past, at present and in the future
suǒ zuò huí xiàng. wǒ yì rú shì huí xiàng.
所 作 迴 向。 我 亦 如 是 迴 向。
did the Parinamana. I, likewise, am doing the same.
zhòng zuì jiē chàn huǐ. zhū fú jìn suí xǐ.
眾 罪 皆 懺 悔。 諸 福 盡 隨 喜。
May the repentance of all sins, the sharing of all blessings
jí qǐng fó gōng dé. yuàn chéng wú shàng zhì.
及 請 佛 功 德。 願 成 無 上 智。
and the merit of pleading to Buddhas all contribute to the achievement of unexcelled wisdom.
qù lái xiàn zài fó. yú zhòng shēng zuì shèng.
去 來 現 在 佛。 於 眾 生 最 勝。
In all Buddhas past, present and future, the best among beings,
wú liàng gōng dé hǎi. wǒ jīn guī mìng lǐ.
無 量 功 德 海。 我 今 歸 命 禮。
with unfathomable merits and virtures, I now take refuge.
Chapter： Gatha of Dedication
章節：偈颂
suǒ yǒu shí fāng shì jiè zhōng
所 有 十 方 世 界 中
To all those who were, are and will be in all worlds everywhere,
sān shì yī qiè rén shī zǐ
三 世 一 切 人 師 子
The Perceptive teacher in the past, at present and in the future
wǒ yǐ qīng jìng shēn yǔ yì
我 以 清 淨 身 語 意
By my pure and clean physical, oral and mental actions,
yī qiè biàn lǐ jìn wú yú
一 切 遍 禮 盡 無 餘
I now pay homage, all embracing and none missing.
pǔ xián hèng yuàn wēi shén lì
普 賢 行 願 威 神 力
With the help of the supernatural power of Samantabhadra's vows,
pǔ xiàn yī qiè rú lái qián
普 現 一 切 如 來 前
I manifest myself simultaneously before all the Tathagatas.
yī shēn fù xiàn chà chén shēn
一 身 復 現 剎 塵 身
This single body of mine, in turn, manifests in innumerable bodies
yī yī biàn lǐ chà chén fó
一 一 遍 禮 剎 塵 佛
Each and every one of which pays homeage to innumerable Buddhas.
yú yī chén zhōng chén shù fó
於 一 塵 中 塵 數 佛
In one grain of dust there exist as many Buddhas as all dust grains,
gè chù pú sà zhòng huì zhōng
各 處 菩 薩 眾 會 中
And in places where there are congregations of Bodhisattvas,
wú jìn fǎ jiè chén yì rán
無 盡 法 界 塵 亦 然
As well as in the dust grains in the endless Dharmadhatus,
shēn xìn zhū fó jiē chōng mǎn
深 信 諸 佛 皆 充 滿
It is firmly believed that all are filled with Buddhas.
gè yǐ yī qiè yīn shēng hǎi
各 以 一 切 音 聲 海
I vow to praise each of them with all kinds of voices and sounds,
pǔ chū wú jìn miào yán cí
普 出 無 盡 妙 言 辭
Invariably uttering endless and wonderful words and speeches.
jìn yú wèi lái yī qiè jié
盡 於 未 來 一 切 劫
And, throughout all the future kalpas yet to come,
zàn fó shèn shēn gōng dé hǎi
讚 佛 甚 深 功 德 海
To prise Buddhas' very deep sea of merits and virtues.
yǐ zhū zuì shèng miào huā mán
以 諸 最 勝 妙 華 鬘
The most exquisite and wonderful garlands of flowers,
jì yuè tú xiāng jí sǎn gài
伎 樂 塗 香 及 傘 蓋
Performance, music, ointment, incense, umbrellas and canopies,
rú shì zuì shèng zhuāng yán jù
如 是 最 勝 莊 嚴 具
As such the most exquisite ornament and adornment --
wǒ yǐ gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
我 以 供 養 諸 如 來
With all of these, I mow make offerings to all Tathagatas.
zuì shèng yī fú zuì shèng xiāng
最 勝 衣 服 最 勝 香
The most exquisite clothes and the most exquisite incenses,
mò xiāng shāo xiāng yǔ dēng zhú
末 香 燒 香 與 燈 燭
Powdered incense, burning incense, lights and candles,
yī yī jiē rú miào gāo jù
一 一 皆 如 妙 高 聚
Each of which heaps as high as the Sumeru Mountains --
wǒ xī gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
我 悉 供 養 諸 如 來
With all of these, I now make offerings to all Tathagatas.
wǒ yǐ guǎng dà shèng jiě xīn
我 以 廣 大 勝 解 心
I, with a broad, deep, extraordinary, understanding mind,
shēn xìn yī qiè sān shì fó
深 信 一 切 三 世 佛
Firmly believe in all Buddhas in the past, present and future,
xī yǐ pǔ xián hèng yuàn lì
悉 以 普 賢 行 願 力
And, with all the power of Samantabhadra's practices and vows,
pǔ biàn gòng yǎng zhū rú lái
普 遍 供 養 諸 如 來
Now make general all-embracing offerings to all Tathagatas.
wǒ xī suǒ zào zhū è yè
我 昔 所 造 諸 惡 業
All the evil Karmas which I created in bygone days
jiē yóu wú shǐ tān chēn chī
皆 由 無 始 貪 瞋 癡
Resulted from avarice, hatred and ignorance since time without beginning,
cóng shēn yǔ yì zhī suǒ shēng
從 身 語 意 之 所 生
And manifested physically, orally or mentally; thus
yī qiè wǒ jīn jiē chàn huǐ
一 切 我 今 皆 懺 悔
For all these karmas I now remorsefully repent.
shí fāng yī qiè zhū zhòng shēng
十 方 一 切 諸 眾 生
All sentient beings in all places --
èr shèng yǒu xué jí wú xué
二 乘 有 學 及 無 學
Svarakas and Pratyeka-buddhas, Saiksas and Asaiksas,
yī qiè rú lái yǔ pú sà
一 切 如 來 與 菩 薩
As well as all the Buddhas and all the Bodhisattvas,
suǒ yǒu gōng dé jiē suí xǐ
所 有 功 德 皆 隨 喜
Together with all their merits and virtues -- I rejoice in and follow.
shí fāng suǒ yǒu shì jiān dēng
十 方 所 有 世 間 燈
To all the torch-bearers in the worlds in all directions,
zuì chū chéng jiù pú tí zhě
最 初 成 就 菩 提 者
Who were the first to achieve Bodhi,
wǒ jīn yī qiè jiē quàn qǐng
我 今 一 切 皆 勸 請
I now extend an all-embracing plea and ask al of them
zhuàn yú wú shàng miào fǎ lún
轉 於 無 上 妙 法 輪
To turn the unexcelled, wonderful wheels of Dharma.
zhū fó ruò yù shì niè pán
諸 佛 若 欲 示 涅 槃
Whenever the Buddhas set their minds on attainment of Nirvana,
wǒ xī zhì chéng ér quàn qǐng
我 悉 至 誠 而 勸 請
I will, with the utmost sincerity, beg and entreat them to stay,
wéi yuàn jiǔ zhù chà chén jié
惟 願 久 住 剎 塵 劫
For I firmly wish them to stay for as many kalpas as dust grains,
lì lè yī qiè zhū zhòng shēng
利 樂 一 切 諸 眾 生
For the benefit and rejoicing of all sentient beings.
suǒ yǒu lǐ zàn gòng yǎng fú
所 有 禮 讚 供 養 佛
All this worship and these praises and offerings to the Buddhas，
qǐng fó zhù shì zhuàn fǎ lún
請 佛 住 世 轉 法 輪
And the plea to the Buddhas asking them to turn the Dharma wheels.
suí xǐ chàn huǐ zhū shàn gēn
隨 喜 懺 悔 諸 善 根
And all the good roots of rejoicing in others and of repentence --
huí xiàng zhòng shēng jí fó dào
迴 向 眾 生 及 佛 道
All are offered up in the Parinamana for sentient beings and for Bodhi.
yuàn jiāng yǐ cǐ shèng gōng dé
願 將 以 此 勝 功 德
I wish to have these extraordinary merits and virtues
huí xiàng wú shàng zhēn fǎ jiè
迴 向 無 上 真 法 界
Offered up in Parinamana for the unexcelled genuine Dharmadhatu
xìng xiàng fó fǎ jí sēng qié
性 相 佛 法 及 僧 伽
Nature, its phenomenal expression, Buddhas, Dharma and Sangha,
èr dì róng tōng sān mèi yìn
二 諦 融 通 三 昧 印
Mundane and Buddhist doctrines blended harmoniously, Samadhi seal
rú shì wú liàng gōng dé hǎi
如 是 無 量 功 德 海
And all such unfathomable seas of merits and virtues.
wǒ jīn jiē xī jìn huí xiàng
我 今 皆 悉 盡 迴 向
I now offer all of them up in Parinamana without reservation.
suǒ yǒu zhòng shēng shēn kǒu yì
所 有 眾 生 身 口 意
May all sentient beings' physical, oral and mental karmas,
jiàn huò tán bàng wǒ fǎ děng
見 惑 彈 謗 我 法 等
Their incorrect views, doubts, sneers and slenders of our Dharma, and
rú shì yī qiè zhū yè zhàng
如 是 一 切 諸 業 障
All karmic obstructions such as the above
xī jiē xiāo miè jìn wú yú
悉 皆 消 滅 盡 無 餘
Be completely eliminated without even a trace.
niàn niàn zhì zhōu yú fǎ jiè
念 念 智 周 於 法 界
Instant by instant wisdom shall prevail in the Dharmadhatu
guǎng dù zhòng shēng jiē bú tuì
廣 度 眾 生 皆 不 退
To enlighten all beings so that they will never suffer retrogression
nǎi zhì xū kōng shì jiè jìn
乃 至 虛 空 世 界 盡
Even if the vast emptiness of space be exhausted,
zhòng shēng jí yè fán nǎo jìn
眾 生 及 業 煩 惱 盡
And sentient beings and their karma and kleshas be exhausted
rú shì sì fǎ guǎng wú biān
如 是 四 法 廣 無 邊
As immense and limitless as the four things mentioned above,
yuàn jīn huí xiàng yì rú shì
願 今 迴 向 亦 如 是
May the present Parinamana never be exhaused.

南 無 大 行 普 賢 菩 薩
