Braised White Turnips
White turnips, 1lb 白蘿蔔 1磅
Carrots, dried mushroom stems, shredded ginger root and minced Chinese celery, small amount 紅蘿蔔、冬菇蒂、薑絲 各少許, 中國芹菜（切末） 少許
Bean paste, soya sauce, 1 tablespoon each 豆瓣醬、生抽 各1湯匙
Sugar, 1 teaspoon 糖 1茶匙
Water, ½ cup 水 ½杯
Cooking Method 做法：
- Cut peeled white turnips and carrots into diagonal pieces.
- Soak dried mushroom stems in water until soft. Squeeze excess water and pound until tender, deep fry in medium hot cooking oil until golden brown and drain.
- Add white turnips, carrots, dried mushroom stems and seasoning to a heated wok. Simmer until sauce is reduced to 1 tablespoon. Sprinkle with minced Chinese celery and serve.
